Inspired by one of the most precious animals in the world, The Pelican, this luxurious top is made from incredibly soft bamboo fabric and embellished with our exclusive Pink Tourmaline The Pelican painting lace Appliqué. It is decorated with pink silk and gold polka dot scalloped lace woven in France.
About the Inspiration: Meet Pink Tourmaline the Pelican! She is the inspiration for our Pink Tourmaline the Pelican painting and collection! She is a two year old American Brown Pelican that sadly suffered severe wing injury caused by fishing hook entanglement. She has been going through physical therapy and treatments for several months at the International Bird Rescue Los Angeles Center.
This top is a reminder of the important work IBR does to rehabilitate waterbirds. Also included with the top is a card with a description of the design and the story of the pelican as well as a card with a description of the top design and the material.
