Meet "Red Spinel"  a precious Sea Lion who is sadly a victim of the recent California Marine Mammal crisis. Thousands of Sea lions, dolphins, and other marine life are suffering seizures and dying from neurotoxin-producing algae bloom. In addition to marine mammals, seabirds such as Cormorants are in great danger. We saw this poor Sea Lion in Del Mar today and immediately called the nearest wildlife rescue center for help.

Thrilled to have had the opportunity to watch the release of 12 precious Brown Pelicans!!! These Pelicans are victims of the recent Southern California mass-stranding event Pelican Crisis. Since May 12, hundreds of Brown Pelicans have been found cold, injured, and starving and the cause is still unknown.
